The AAN network is providing technical assistance to a local organization in Uganda – UPLIFT.

Each year, UPLIFT conducts literacy and empowerment training for 1,700 women.

This is in a remote rural area of West Nile, right by the Congo border.

UPLIFT has started local production and distribution of re-useable face masks, combined with Covid-19 training sessions.

Masks and training sessions are based on information provided by AAN.
