High Infection - Chemo Suspended

Update posted by Fernando III Camacho

Ate Kat was admitted for her 2nd chemo session around 3pm last June 25th but her session did not go accordingly as planned. Prior to her getting admitted for her chemo, her Albumin and Hemoglobin count are way below normal of which these results were sent to her Onco for evaluation. Her Onco suggested that she get blood transfusion and she needs to feed via NGT so that her body can absorb all the proper nutrients she needs -- Ate refused to be fed via NGT. We were able to secure the needed blood pack for her (Ate is type O+) thru the help of our cousin Jeremy. Blood transfusion was the first activity that she needs to undergo to ensure her body is well for the chemo procedure. However, her albumin still needs to be at normal levels thus NGT is highly recommended -- but again she refused to and just tried her best to eat normally. During the transfusion, her temp increased around 38 degrees and based on the blood chem she has infection since her WBC count increased to 14k (not normal, normal)

Her Onco suggested a urinalysis and chest xray to find out which is causing the high infection. Dra Butalid, her Onco, called me and discussed that in the event UTI is ruled out causing her infection, she might have acquired Pneumonia due to her being under nourished and that made her susceptible to it. Possible too, that the cancer cells in her body is causing the fever thus we need to start the session ASAP but dependent on the result of the xray. We were also told that since she is under nourished, she needs Albumin (20% human protein) to be infused immediately because these help binds the chemo meds. She needs 2 transfusion within 12 hours.

June 28th - around 11am, we are on the last 2 vials for hel Albumin but need to also know the status of her Xray so that she be treated with the correct anti bodies dependent on the Xray. She got her anti-biotic meds around 6pm and was told at 830pm that she had liquid in her lungs and hope the meds will help.

PRAYING VERY HARD AND ASKED FOR PRAYER WARRIORS TO HELP US PRAY FOR ATE'S RECOVERY. HOPE THE FLUIDS INSIDE HER LUNGS BE REMOVED WITH JESUS BLOOD AND THE ANTIBIOTIC BE AN INSTRUMENT OF MIRACLE AND HEALING.
