Our family was greeted with mixed news regarding our parents in the past few days. On one hand, we were relieved to be reunited with our mother, who was just discharged from the hospital last Monday.

On the other hand, we are also deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved father last 4 June 2020, after battling the virus for more than 2 weeks.

As we begin to adjust to our new reality, we wish to express our gratitude to all the donors who helped our family during these trying times. We also want to thank everyone who helped sharing this link to spread awareness about our family's call for help. Being buried deep in debt after losing our father would have been very devastating to us. But thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise the necessary amount to weather the sudden surge of medical expenses- which peaked at over Three Million Pesos. Your kindness saved us from what could have been another tragedy to our family.
