Sorry I haven't had the time to send our thank you messages to all those who shared the fundraiser and donated.
You have no idea how much you are making us happy.

The day the campaign went live (May 22), I couldn't properly monitor how well the fundraiser was going because we had to rush to the hospital. My mom wasn't feeling well. She was being very anxious and apart from her usual back pains, she had a stomach and headache. My mom would avoid the hospital as much as possible because of the phobia/ trauma she developed going there frequently last year. However, on that day, she was the one who said we should go there. This alarmed us as this means whatever she was feeling must really be serious. I don't want to go into details on what happened in the hospital anymore. I was the one who assisted my mom in the emergency room, she was medicated and advised to go home when she feels better as it's not safe for her to stay there due to her being immunocompromised.
On that same day, my Papa lost his wallet with all his hard earned-money for the month. He went home looking really upset. Call it a test, a game of fate or whatever, but it was a very frustrating day.

That day ended very well unexpectedly though.

1.The person who found my Papa's wallet exerted so much effort to find him through FB. Papa's wallet was returned with everything in it intact. (Sir, thank you very much again)
2.We got home from the hospital with my mom feeling so much better.
3.I opened Facebook and felt so much joy seeing your sweet messages, prayers, and donation for the campaign.

The response we got after launching the campaign for mama is overwhelming. In less than 24 hours, we are already at more or less 10% (100k) of our goal of 500k. The amount you are seeing on the gogetfunding page is not all that we are getting. Many opted to donate directly to my sister's BPI bank account/ Paypal. I cannot wait to share this good news to you all and confirm that the world isn't apathetic after all. Despite everything that is happening around us, don't lose hope and always believe that there is kindness in this world.

The amount we have collected so far is more than enough to cover for 2 sessions of Zoledronic Acid Infusion (10k each) and Targeted Drug Therapy (36k each). WOW! God is so good. Someone dear to us also offered to cover one session of her medication, so that is 3 sessions down, 9 more to go!

Donations are coming in in different forms. Cash, medicine, food, fruits, food-supplements etc. My mom is loved by many!!! Even the people we haven't crossed paths with before donated. We are speechless...
