Beirut Disaster Relief Appeal
Update posted by imane Assaf On Aug 07

Obviously since the catastrophe that engulfed Beirut on August 4th 2020 our focus has now shifted entirely to rescue and recovery work.

We are working with a team of more than 70 Architects to assess the structural state of building with a view to undertake repairs that will enable families to return to their homes.

We are working with building contractors to undertake internal and external repairs such as roofing, glazing and even repairing the internal doors fo some homes as they were also blown out by the blast.

Our primary focus is on the communities and families that have been left with nothing from this disaster, we are distributing clothes and food, we are providing toys for the poor little children, we are providing blankets and bedding for those that have no hime left to return to.

Beirut is in a terrible state. we are working on the streets removing the endless mountain of broken glass, the debris, everything that has with been blown from buildings or rained down from the sky, our teams are there on the ground doing all they can to lift Beirut from its knees.

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, please share this campaign with as many people or organisations as you can think of. all money donated will be going directly towards rescuing our broken city and its bringing some glimmer of hope to the Lebanese people that even with a shattered soul continue to pull together and rebuild our country once again.
