As most of you may have heard, my mother is now in a better place and we couldn’t thank you enough for the love, prayers, and donations. She fought hard but lost to sepsis that led to heart failure. The doctors did everything but I guess my mom decided it’s time to rest and be free of pain.

The reality that she's no longer with us felt surreal, but then she'll always be in our hearts and memories.

You will be missed, mom.

Likewise, we're truly grateful and fortunate to have people help us when we needed it the most. Being an introverted person that I am, my inbox has never been this busy nor am I this social, but I'll do everything for my family.

To all of my friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers, high school/college classmates, strangers--you guys are awesome!
