Kabuba is in the romote and underserved rural areas of Binga district. The school was established in 2012 to relieve the children from walking 32 km to the nearest secondary school. About 98% villagers of kabuba are unemployed and earn a living through subsistence farming . As such they find it difficult to raise money to build their school. This has resulted in their children taking lessons in open spaces. Up to now no organization has shown interest in building Kabuba Secondary school.
