My name is Roy and I am a struggling 38-year old single father of three children (aged 7, 9, and 11). Since Covid-19 from March 2020 as employee salary cut more than 50% and bring back home $1020.00 I really have to work part time to survive paying Alimony and 3 kids expense I was thinking to set up own business hoping giving my family a better future. Been divorced since my ex-wife decided to leave me due to i am poor can't give her happiness in life betrayed having an affair that the truth. Unfortunately in Singapore who wrong or right still ended up a divorce suit under women's charter laws. It such a painful moment to see our marriage a failure affected my children growing in a broken family. Would wish to fight for solo full custody. She just dump back my children cut tie with me now totally uncontactable ex spouse rejected my calls. She left us with another guy guess I am too poor and not being an educated person that why she choose to left us.

Found out she had start up her own family and having her own baby quietly. Angry over this matter decided support all my own blood kids with me without her. Anybody who knows me personally knows I hate to ask anyone for anything. I normally take care of my own and have been successful for a number of years in doing so. Guess you all know Singapore expensive country to survive not easy nowadays.
Heard about this "fund-raising" program from a friend no other option as a last resort to reach out for the help from public. In Feb 2018, I lost everything in life financial and emotional support for my children Since young my mother passed away left with my father wasn't working and I have been the "bread winner" / sole provider for the family. It tough time went before seek help from Social Care center for assistant. Well still they have their own limited help there rules and regulation to follows. At first, my family was helping me financially, but they can not longer help. My dad already retirement. I work a full-time job salary not enough to support and raise the kids by myself, but it's not enough to sustain the education, expenses , bad debts and the bills. As a result, I am heavy debts with banks behind in my rent and face possible eviction if I cannot get my debts up to beat.

I am currently seeking a second job to handle all of my financial problems. In the meantime, Until then, I struggle to make ends meet for a family of 3 kids plus myself without asking my own father. I am shy and felt shameful to beg for public help but hoping my children will having a better future and bright careers when they grow up.
