Progress of the procurement of PPEs

Update posted by Jade Roxas

We have started sewing the PPEs in Bacolod. We purchased 200 meters of PPE fabric. Production has started and they look very sturdy to protect our frontliners.

We have also already paid for the following additional materials here in Manila:

100 taffeta fabric - Php3,500

garter, velcro, thread, zipper, sliders, etc. - 2,395

These will be delivered tomorrow.

The 200 N95 masks are still stuck in Incheon, Korea. Let's pray they arrive soon. There are 1000 more masks that can be ordered but will not do so until the first 200 arrives soon.

Have also ordered 10 boxes of sodium ascorbate in Bacolod.

Starting to consolidate the supplies so we can send to Negros soon.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. I've received donations from people I don't know. Some have helped to put me in touch with people who can make the PPEs or donate some medical supplies. Thank you! May God bless you for your generosity a thousandfold.
