Third day to recovery

Update posted by Angelos Zochios

Just returned for the vet. Garfield's condition is stable. The force feeding is helping, without the need at the moment to insert him a feeding tube to his stomach. The treatment is going well according to the doctor. So we can avoid the hospitalization for the time being.

New development in his condition is that he started going to his toilet again. A big step to recovery BUT he do not feed himself or drink afterwards, which leaves him in need of food and water. Thats why he needs to be force fed and watered. The doctor advice me to get him a specific food that is good for consumption during his disease. To inform other owners that have the same problem with their pet cats about hepatic lipidosis this is a very good food especially for this case.

Royal Canine Recovery

The treatment continued with IV fluids for hydration, anti vomiting shot and for the first time antibiotics because now he is sensitive to infections to his other organs.

Again thank you all for your support. Garfield is grateful to all of you.

Bonus we have some photos from the vet which Garfield is a very gentle boy accepting the treatment of the doctor.
