23/03/2020 Update

Update posted by Anna Lai

Good news: Bucky has been slowly weaned off the adrenaline medication as his blood pressure gets more stable. He is strong enough to go for ultrasound which the vet found his stomach and intestines the walls are pretty thick which proves that he has inflammation/infection of his gastrointestinal track.

Bad news: Because of the infection, his entire gastrointestinal track has stopped functioning. In layman terms, his digestive system kinda shut down so the stomach muscles and intestines are not doing their normal function. Like how when hungry the stomach will churn? That was why Bucky did not have any appetite the day before everything that happened. He is considered in critical condition but the vet has provided him with another medication to help stimulate this stomach and intestines so hopefully they work. This means he is still considered to be in critical condition.

As of today, Bucky takes 10 different types of medication. It is still sad to see all the tubes on him but he is definitely in good hands with the vet.

I assume he will need to stay a few more days until he is fully recovered. Maybe another 5 days. Which means the bills will be up to 10k. Stay tuned for more updates as I might have to really ask for donations to help with Bucky's medical fees.
