The surgery was performed yesterday and it was a success. He was really in great pain after the effect of anesthesia is gone. Pain killers were given to him from time to time.

As of now, he is still afraid to move - don't want to wound to open up. His doctor would like him to under go therapy to help him move and walk again using his new hip.
