Appeal to Support Mohammed Ahmed for Thalassemia Major- Bone Marrow Transplantation#

Mohammed Mukarram Ahmed, 10 years old boy is suffering from Thalassemia Major which is a Life-threatening blood disorder disease. The Thalassemia Major causes the body to make an abnormal form of hemoglobin. The Hemoglobin is the protein molecule in red blood cells that carries oxygen and supports the life. The disorder results in excessive destruction of red blood cells, which leads to anemia and causes death. In order to survive, the patient needs to undergo blood transfusion regularly. The permanent solution to this disease is the bone marrow transplantation. Since last 10 years Mohamed Ahmed is on blood transfusion and his parents have spent all of their savings. Now the doctors at CMC Vellore Hospital have advised them to undergo for Bone Marrow Transplantation. This procedure needs 14 Lakhs of Rupees also another 3 lakhs for post operation treatment. Mohammed Ahmed lives with his parents and grandparents in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Mohammed Ahmed`s father Rayees Ahmed is a pious man and works as a receptionist in a private firm and makes Rs 8000 monthly. He needs to take care of his parents, wife and three children so hardly he is able to save anything. He is going through a tough time now as he is not able to mobilize 17 lakhs ($24000) of rupees required for the treatment. They are very much worried about the young boy and wants to save his life. They are looking for generous people like you to help them to save the life of Mohammed Ahmed. The family is poor and eligible to receive Zakat and Sadaqah donations.
