Hello, good people! I want to personally thank every one of you for your generous donations and support for this cause. It's quite a thing for me to step into a role where I'm asking you all to believe in me and my ability to see my dreams through. This has been a huge moment of growth, and to have you all by my side is both humbling and extremely moving, and it's possible that I shed a few tears at one point taking it all in. ;)

I wanted to give you all an update on how plans are coming along. Yesterday I got my official approval for my dates and chosen areas of interest, so we are locked in! In the next few days my program fee payment transfers will be complete as well, so that takes care of the actual volunteer arrangements. The next step is the flight! I'll be looking into the discounted flight options for humanitarian travelers that the organization can help me out with. And then it's on to other incidentals such as travel insurance and vaccinations. The ball is very much rolling and picking up speed!

I'm planning on putting an event or 2 together to help cover costs. Ecuadorian-themed dinner party? Car wash? So many possibilities. I'll keep the page updated as things progress. Thanks again for your support in kicking things off! <3
