Hi everyone. It’s time for a #MimiUpdate!

The infection is still in her blood, so we’re looking at a few more days in the ICU until the infection clears up. 😭

She’s out of the danger zone, but her doctor want to make sure she’s fully treated before she’s discharged.

Mimi is active, alert and has a huge appetite. She’s charmed all the nurses, and doctors and is her feisty self again. 💪🏽

My mom Elaine Del Rosario has flown in from the US to help us out. She met her granddaughter for the first time a couple of days ago! ❤️

The great news is Mimi’s tests results are coming back normal, including what was a worryingly high level of parathyroid hormone, which helps to regulate calcium. We are still waiting on the other metabolic test results too.

I can’t stay with her the whole day, but the time we spend together is the best part of my day everyday. I thank God for every moment she spends in my arms, and for all the people who care for her everyday and show her such tenderness.

My family and I are so grateful for everything. I get daily messages asking how Mimi is, and it’s wonderful to know that so many people are thinking of her.

I’m hoping to bring her home soon!
