I just had my OCT and IVFA procedure and the assessment was:

Both eyes:

Diabetic retinopathy, non-proliferative, severe

Angiographic evidence or macular edema

Complete posterior vitreous detachment

Will be meeting my optha for next steps today (01/09/2020), but from the doctors who handled me during my procedures they mentioned that the vision can no longer be restored to normal. But the good news is that laser surgery and other treatments will help reduce the risk of permanent vision loss.
