Jan 16 update

After the catheter was removed yesterday, Rhys was able to empty his bladder on his own this morning. Praise God!
Speech therapy tomorrow will have him chew on bigger chunks of food and see how far he can go. Please pray with us so that the NGT can be finally removed. This is the remaining item still attached before he can finally be discharged.
Cardio/main attending physician says he will provide clearance by Saturday. We look forward to having Rhys continue his recovery at home and are now preparing for his needs. We cannot thank everyone who has shared their time, resources, words of support and prayers to help us get through the past few weeks. All glory to God for each day's healing mercies.
