Cancer hospital project
Update posted by Sathiamoorthy Gurusamy- The hospital was initially designed to house 300 beds and 9 operating rooms. After analysis and assessment of the site it was decided that certain areas of the hospital will be redesigned and structured to meet the facilities detailed in the facility matrix section of this report. This restructuring and refurbishment shall be carried out by the private partner. The total expense for the above restructuring is estimated to be 70 millions. SMVDSB will invest the cost. This amount has been added to the total project cost.
