You get it. We want to thank you for that. You understand that efforts like that of The Christian Left couldn't exist in the modern era without supporters. In a very real sense we would not exist if it wasn't for you.

So Happy 2020 to you all. It's going to be an intense year. It's all too big to even imagine without employing a few tools to keep our hearts and minds in order.

As we think about our activities in 2020 and the barriers we will face the first thing we asked for in prayer and meditation this morning was for the heart of Jesus, for the mind of Jesus, and for the Spirit of Jesus. That's the only way we're going to get through this thing.

It's too big for anything else.

So we thank you again. And we pray the same thing for you. It would be easy to get overwhelmed when we face something as evil as Donald Trump. We try hard not to label his supporters as "evil." They're brainwashed. They are captives. We have to pray for them as well.

Given that you are the backbone of this endeavor we'll give you the facts because we know you understand how these things work. We're two thirds of the way there on this action fund. The fund is still open. We encourage you to come back and make an additional contribution if you can. In fact become a regular supporter throughout the year. Sign up for a monthly contribution as well. It's you who keeps this going. We can't emphasize that enough.

That said we want you to know how much you are valued to us. We're blessed and lucky to have you along on this journey. You're a key part of the mission. We mean that from the bottom of our hearts.

Know that we give this thing to God every single day. We hand it over and tell God the outcome belongs to "him." We do the footwork. At the end of each day that's all we can do.

Next week we leave for Iowa. It begins.
