Short Summary

My name is Boglarka Kiss, was borned in a little town, called Fehergyarmat in the North-Eastern part of Hungary. I am 32. I studied at university in Budapest faculty of Maths and Informatics, but after graduating I moved home and opened an ice-cream shop in 2012. I learned the secrets of ice cream making in Italy and I had an Italian master personally in my shop for months who taught me.

The quality of my work has always been of paramount importance to me, so I have carefully selected the raw materials. Real handmade. 100% Cream made from milk and 100% Fruit ice cream made from fruit.

Many people who have tasted it, love it and praise it from the first moment. Many who came from far away talked about how good it would be to be closer to them. My dream started here. I was happy to give something special and I started to feel how good it would be to give the same for much people.

Why do I need help while I already have an ice cream shop

After 3 years I transferred the business to my mother to help her living after her business went wrong and moved back to the capital of Hungary, Budapest.

Hoping that I will earn enough money from other work and open my shop here. I got another university degree while working for a bank. But has not yet been achieved and unfortunatelly I am not able to realize this idea on my own. Because of the high rent and the cost of living, my savings are not enough. Not to mention that small-town business does not generate enough revenue to sustain it. Thanks to low salaries, the opening of the second low-priced but cheap ice cream shop and the destruction of the city's only one small pedestrian street.

This is made more difficult by the fact that my ice cream machine, which has been in service for many years, gave up service by the end of the 2019 season.

So now to make my dream come true or just to keep my existing business alive i would like to gather supporters who are also important in sweets, healthy food, gastronomy or or anyone who wants to help.

What I need & what you get

It would take a total of 25.000 euro to accomplish this. What belongs to this? The first step is to find a retail space to rent in Budapest. After that to set up the shop in accordance with the rules for selling food (HACCP), to buy the right to introduce Phase 3 for the machines and to buy the ice-cream machine. That will be the most expensive, even if I buy used. Furniture and accessories, marketing and advertising I included in the price.

Many people look for a homemade ice cream shop, because they want that upgraded experience. I take pride in our flavors and I think you'll taste the difference. My offer can be used by my supporters 3 months after opening. Each of my supporters are gifted with one scoop of ice-cream.

I assure you that you will find fresh, delicious and high quality ice-cream. And last but not least I care about that you meet friendly person behind the counter, who explains the flavors and concepts and gives tasters.:)

If I could not reach the target because I did not raise money, only some of it, I would buy a machine to keep alive the little ice cream shop for my mother in my hometown.
