The 2nd round of radiotherapy sessions for Doods was completed last 27th Dec. It was relatively uneventful. And after a couple of days of observation, the doctors agreed that she's fit enough to be discharged and start her rehab from home.

So, last Monday, 30th Dec, Doods came home.

It was not easy adjusting to new routines for her (and all of us), a bit uncomfortable at times, and at other, painful. But she took it at her stride. She's now more confident in walking with her walking frame. And she's taking longer and longer periods of sitting rather than lying down on the bed.

Finally, the moment she's been waiting for, she attended the Mass yesterday at our Parish, Our Lady Star of the Sea. This was her first Mass after she's been hospitalized last October.
