Surgery for Luce

Update posted by Althea Mason

Our little boy from the Children's village in the refugee camp has had surgery to his right eye. He had a detached retina that has been repaired and some other repairs or corrections that I do not understand. His surgery was on the 3rd february. Last week he had an outpatient appointment which went well and he needs to go back in another month. he will then be fitted for glasses which will greatly improve his sight in both eyes.

We are very happy for Luce and he is overjoyed to finally be on the road to recovery. He has become part of our KJRC family very quickly and is loved by everyone. Luce is a happy boy and is enjoying his time with us.

His surgery, medicines and two pairs of glasses is around 100,00.00THB (We cannot give an accurate amount until we have purchased the glasses.) The surgery alone was 77,000.00. Thank you for everyone who donated for heng and his recovery and have also made it possible for Luce to have greatly improved sight.

Thank you
