Tomorrow would mark my mother's first month at the hospital. Two operations and an endoscopy procedure later, they still have not found the leak. The good news is the strong medications used improved her healing and there has been quite an improvement with her body healing the cause of the leak on her own. It still is an uphill battle since other complications have arisen during our continuous stay.

We have also received news about the biopsy and it has been confirmed that my mother has Stage III Stomach Cancer.
