WOW!!! Thank you SO MUCH everyone! I can’t believe we have already FAR SURPASSED our goal of $500 in this effort to raise a donation to further support the children we’ll be working with in Zambia. We’re PROUD to be a part of this community, and we are super grateful to everyone that’s backed this fundraiser! We can’t wait to see all the good that this money will do andto share back with all of you how we’ve come together to make a difference.

We have learned more about our placement! We will be at a pre and primary school called Elicecy. Elicecy is in a very poor area, with electricity just a few hours a day and very few resources, so they do not have an online presence that I am aware of. I can share that there are about 90 children between 2-11 years old. Based on what we know right now, our assignment has us spending most of our time caring for the toddlers, but we’ll also be teaching basic math and English to some of the older children and helping with recreation activities for all the children.
