About me:

My name is Timothy Meuwsen and I am a Grade 11 pupil in Bergsig Academy. I’m an average student in academics but absolutely love sports. In the beginning of the year I played for Bergsig’s Second team which is known as the “Hawks”, but later on through hard work and determination I got pulled up to the first team. I’ve always been the smallest in the team, but that of course hasn’t held me back. In August & September, Bergsig took part in the Apcan tournament in Johannesburg where we played during the week for two consecutive weeks. Twice I received Man of the match.

After that amazing experience came to an end, I was given Man of the tournament and was chosen for the tour team that would be touring from the 3 – 13 of December 2019.

The tour is quite costly drawing close to R36 000, but with the support of everyone, this dream could become a reality for me. All extra money sponsored will go towards helping my two friends also make the tour.
