My daughter, Sofia Pink A. Mata, was born prematurely on July 22, 2019 for only 28 weeks or 7 months. She was admitted at the NICU of Marikina Valley Medical Center, Marikina City, Philippines and placed in an incubator up to the present day. Doctors have diagnosed her of Prematurity, Sepsis Neonatorum (Methicillin Resistant Staph Epidermidis) and Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). They informed me that she requires a very strong set of antibiotics for her sepsis and a life time treatment of steroids and hormones for her Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). And that she also needs to stay to the NICU, in an incubator, until she recovers.

My wife and I were in desperate need of financial help. We have tried all possible source to arrange the money for her hospitalization, as of today her bill is already Php 1,045,050.65 (as of Sept. 05, 2019) without the doctor’s fee, and it is estimated that her bill will reach up to 2 million pesos, that amount is beyond the reach of a government employee like me.
