It would have been a great day but it turned out not to be. Isla's stats became better after her blood transfusion and her feeding increased from 1ml to 2ml every 2hrs, her white blood cells count improved as well indicative of her recovery from infection. However, we learned that she had an overdose of her antibiotic, 150% more of what she's supposed to take, a mistake made by her bedside nurse 😢😭😭😢😥 They took some tests to check any symptoms of OD, to check her liver and kidney, tests that are unnecessary that will take some toll on her already fragile body. So far all tests are okay for now, they will continue to observe and do another test in a couple of days. It is very unfortunate and why it has to happen to our little princess. I think I'll go crazy from this rollercoaster of emotion of doubt, pain, love, anger, gratefulness. But we have to stay positive for my little girl. We know she is a fighter and we have to fight this out with her.
