Patricia traveled to Venezuela in December to visit her children. She is still there with them. The country is in chaos. She and her children are eating only one meal each day. The children are malnourished because of this.

The situation in Venezuela is dire. Patricia uses an electronic larynx to speak. She has only a couple of batteries. When she runs out of batteries she will have no voice. She will only be able to communicate silently. People will have to read her lips.
