August 25th Update

Update posted by Carol Young

Coco has been on medications and going in for regular checks of her blood count. The good news is that her count is essentially back to normal! She has been eating well and otherwise getting back to being a regular dog. However on Saturday Aug. 24th Coco suddenly started waling into walls, circling and falling down. She was taken to the emergency room where they determined that her symptoms were consistent with Vestibular Disease or possibly a blood clot. Coco was sent home to be watched but when symptoms worsened she was taken back to the ER to be admitted. Coco will need an MRI to determine what is going on neurologically so that she can get the proper treatment, which will cost between $2,500 and $3,000. She needs to as soon as possible which is dependent on how quickly funds can be raised, so please share Coco's fundraiser. Thank you!
