Update 1

Update posted by Chris Scott

It has been a while since we started fundraising and there have been some happenings, some positive, some negative yet expected.

Arizona has been in hospital the majority of last week where she had a couple of ports surgically inserted and her second dosage of chemotherapy. The ports make it easier for doctors to draw bloods at a whim and be able to administer medicines and chemo without a permanent central line making it a lot more comfortable for Zona.

Sadly, with her chemotherapy, the inevitable hair loss has occurred and she has some fun wigs which she's enjoying...yet believes i look better as the brunette! As you can see, she is still the beautiful, buoyant, smiling girl that she always has been and always will be.

Through all your prayers, good wishes and positive thinking, Zona had one test done and no more shall be done until the end of the chemo process. That test was to determine the aggressiveness of the cancer and thankfully, I can let you know that it is NOT the aggressive strain which is amazing news yet we know that this is a little light in a very dark situation. The cancer is still stage 4 neuroblastoma but we keep clinging on to these positive pieces of news and hope for many more to come.

Please keep donating, praying and doing anything you can to help this wonderful little girl overcome this dreadful disease.
