Happy Teej Nepal!

Update posted by Karla Danali Martinez Cabrera

Hartalika Teej (or Teej) is the fasting festival of girls & women in Nepal 👭 It usually takes place in Nepali Bhadra month (August to September in Solar Calendar) and lasts for three days and it's celebrated with songs, dancing and prayer rituals. Unmarried girls look forward to a good marriage in the future, and married women pray for the long and healthy life of their husbands.

On August 31st at "Bal Balika" Montessori & Pre-School I had the opportunity to celebrate such a beautiful tradition surrounded by strong & hardworking women together with their beautiful children 🥰❤👭👧💃😍

P.S. fasting is a choice, so those who know me...well you know what food means to me 🤣🤣🤣

🇳🇵❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 #NeverEndPeaceAndLove
