Hello everyone,

Ben and I were utterly blown away by the Go Fund Me page that was set up by Nola. Firstly that she would think to do something so practically helpful but in such a discreet and sensitive way. True friendship.

Now we must thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being so generous. Money is tight for everyone these days so the donations are unbelievably appreciated. This injection of cash has come at such a crucial time. We fall between the cracks on this cancer journey of mine. My new job couldn't pay me beyond this month as it is a startup and I was only there three weeks. They’ve been super generous but it has to stop.
As we are both earning and on paper look like we should be ok, I don’t qualify for any benefits. Statutory sick pay is very small.
And the reality is like many of us every penny is allocated to our children and simply living. My salary is very missed and to have this money to give me a few more months for my body, mind and heart to heal is such a blessing. What you’ve given me is more time to focus on recovery and that’s the greatest gift for us at the moment.

I’d love to blow it on a massive party but that will come and you gorgeous people will all be invited!!
