4 days ago today, our Mama Glo got re-admitted post-op brain surgery. She is now able to communicate and is showing better progress than the last time she as discharged.

It was found that her brain was not swelling, rather it is actually a size of a teenagers brain (which is good thing, I think). The doctor said that as we age, our brain shrinks. In her case, her big brain had no space with all the liquid used to wash-out the bleeding post-op. IV meds helped her skin absorb that liquid and now, she is able to carry on a conversation. She forgets words sometimes but she makes an effort to try and remember. She was smiling and laughing a lot when my sister visited her a couple days back.

She will stay in the hospital for continuous monitoring and medication. Doctors want to see her progress before ordering discharge.
