After spending more than 3 weeks in the hospital my mom finally got the treatment she badly needed. Yesterday, a portion of her skull was opened to clip the ruptured vein and treat her aneurysm. Everything went smoothly. But towards the end of her procedure her blood pressure started to go down and her heart stopped. For 5 minutes the doctors tried to revive her.

The surgeon went out of the operating room and spoke to us. He told us what happened. Shortly after a nurse called him back to the O.R. - My mom’s heart stopped again. The doctor rushed back in to revive my mom.

Soon after the cardio came out to see us. Normally I appreciate honest, no sugar-coating, real talk. But yesterday I hated everything the doctor was telling us because he was very frank and straightforward; That my mom might not wake up from this procedure. That the lack of oxygen to her brain (when her heart stopped. twice) might have caused irreparable damage. That the first 12-24 hours were critical.

PLEASE HELP US PRAY HARD FOR OUR MOM. We love her deeply and we do not want to lose her.
