Procedures for Edward Lander's condition

Update posted by Leilani Jamandre

Edward Lander, was born on January 10, 2019 with Imperforate Anus (a birth defect in which a baby has an improperly developed anus). He needs 3 surgery to repair the defect, before every surgery he needs to undergo different laboratory test. His 1st surgery was done 3days after his birth, it is a procedure called a colostomy, a stoma (an opening on the abdomen where the intestine is brought out to the skin) is created. Stool passes out the opening into a special stoma bag worn on the outside of the body, on the abdomen. He is using Colostomy bag after the 1st surgery and will still use it until the 3rd surgery is finish. His 2nd operation should be done this July, this procedure is called anoplasty, it involves pulling the rectum down to the anus where a new anal opening is created. Several months later after the new anal opening has healed, a 3rd procedure will be performed to close the stoma. . . With all of these procedures, surgery, we are humbly asking for financial assistance and prayers and we want to thank you in advance for your help. Thank you very much and Godbless.
