Update

Update posted by June Brown

I was in the hospital the day after I lost a large contract for a job right before my start date - the contract was ending for a rather absurd reason that left myself and my job recruiter handling it rather perplexed. As mentioned, the following day I woke up with the left side of my face swollen, droopy, and numb. The best guess by the physicians at the ER was that it was very likely a mini-stroke.

The medication alone they had me on was very expensive (no insurance) and really drained my accounts. I have recently started a new job that unfortunately does not pay very well at the moment. I am facing some financial issues due to the medication costs on top of outstanding client invoices.

This has caused me to become behind my landlord. He gave me an ultimatum very recently - despite being aware of my situation. I fully understand why but it's leaving me in a very tough predicament. I have already tried other routes to resolve this but none of those have been productive or produced a resolution (please don't message me about charities, etc. which is what I am trying to say). I appreciate the recent donations. I am honestly so very close to have things become stable once more.

I am still dealing with hemorraghic cysts and will have to have another biopsy on my cervix to monitor for cancerous cells. Unfortunately, on top of my endometriosis this has also become a normal piece of my life.

If you can donate, it is greatly appreciated.
