Our story continues

This is the first time I am seeking for help on social media.

I am trying to get a smaller and cheaper home for my family after selling away of previous home for medical funds for my father. Unfortunately, we were being rejected to get government loan for the housing. The only option left is to go to bank loan.

But the law is that for bank loan, I must come out with 5% cash downpayment upfront.

We are currently staying in a rented house but it’s very taxing on the family to pay rent in cash every month. The best way for us is to buy a cheaper home which we can use our own central funds for paying the loan. The government will keep 20% of our income in The Central funds every month and it can only be use for housing purposes.

I am still short of $10k and the banks will not extend any personal loan to us.

My other relatives have their own sets of problem too. I Guess it’s very rare but our generation of children have all been diagnosed with either behaviour or learning medical issues. The doctor term it as ‘inherited by skip generation’ (as my generation does not have these medical issues) - my kids and their cousins all are diagnosed with either austim, speech delay, adhd or some type of learning disabilities. So I didn’t approach them for help as i know their family are also burden with medical and therapy cost which is very expensive in Singapore.

Pls help our family in anyway u can. When I research about crowding funding I was very skeptical if it will work. Cause deep down I am thinking who will give money for free. Will people believe my story or there have been too many unreal cases.

But I pray that there will be hope and I hold on to that faith and keep believing there is rainbow after the rain.

Thank you.
