Successful Operation

Update posted by Jedidiah Quinones

Last June 11, 2019, a week after the baby was born, the permanent pacemaker insertion took place and it lasted about 3-4 hours. T'was indeed a battle of life and faith. Life for the little one who keeps fighting to survive such condition and faith for us to continually believe on God's promises for us that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Eventually, after a week from operation, a discharge notice from the attending physician was release since her heartbeat is now stable. But within that week was again a struggle thru our finances due to the hospital bill that keeps on increasing each day. So we tried to submit promisory note, however it seems that process won't allow us to succeed cause you have to give them colaterals that would suffice the billed amount which we do not also have. Aside from that, we need to ask each doctors who handled the baby, if they would allow us to do such. Unfortunately, most of the doctors were out of town and we do not have ample time to reach them all cause the bill keeps on increasing the moment we stay longer in the hospital (there are 7 of them at different hospitals). There's an irony here when the hospital says,"Don't worry about the bill, the important thing is that the baby is alive". Pero pag abot na sa binayranan, dili na magpahangyo, lisud-lisuron paka.

We've gone all to any possible government agency that could lend some help. Even if the assistance were not enough, we're still thankful for the favor that the Lord has given. He provided us family, friends, relatives, collegues, and concerned people that we do not even know (or shall we say friends of friends) of whom we did not expect will help us without hesitations. We are blessed that we're still sorrounded by such kind persons.

We thank God for all the lives that help us through our down moments. May your lives be blessed also and even the works of your hands be tremendously blessed! That is our declaration in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Now our little Jael is at home. Praise be to the Lord our God, Redeemer, Savior, Healer and Great Provider.
