I am absolutely devastated to share that there is now a huge Murray-shaped hole in our lives. Today he developed neurological damage, and the vet said that even if we had all the money in the world, there was only a slim chance of recovery and a definite chance of prolonging what had become very intense suffering. We couldn't let our precious boy go through that. When we saw him today, we knew it was time to let him be at peace.

He truly was a part of our family, and we loved him deeply. Our hearts are shattered that we didn't get longer with him, but we are grateful for the time that we did have, and for all the joy and energy he brought to our lives.

We are so very grateful to everyone who contributed to his fundraiser. The money will go towards helping alleviate some of the debt we incurred trying to give our boy the best possible chance at life. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
