Let me tell you a story about Garison. Garison suffered a spine injury, and though he wasn't a stray dog, the group financed his surgery and further medical care, on request of his owner. The outcome was pretty good, he can go! A wobbly walk, but he goes! Yet his owner wanted to put him down. Naturally, the group didn't let her, and since he is in a foster family, which costs a lot.
