Meeting Brent Lindeque from Good Things Guy

Update posted by Julie Hide

Life is moving so quickly lately that I actually that I actually forgot that I emailed GoodThingsGuy.com

And then.... in popped an email from Brent, the editor asking if Shaun would be a part of his podcast. YAY someone responded and with something positive.

So off Shaun went yesterday and sat down with Brent for his interview. PS - it airs on Tuesday 16th July so don't miss it.

BIG Thanks to my mom for taking him, without her these days I am not sure how sane I would be. #ThanksMom

Shaun has been experiencing a few low days of late and when he returned he was glowing from ear to ear. How amazing is that!! Brent, thank you for lifting his spirits and for taking the time to listen to his story.

Brent posted this on his facebook page yesterday and it had me in tears- I do hope you don't mind me sharing

"What an insane interview... we cried, we laughed & then we cried some more.

In 2005, Shaun Hide was knocked down on the highway after experiencing trouble with his vehicle, he was dragged for approximately 900 meters and spent 3 months in hospital.

He has led a relatively normal life since then and achieved so much with a body that simply does not work properly, learning to walk on his own was a miracle!

But a few months ago things started going horribly wrong.

He started loosing feeling in his legs and although the feeling is not completely gone, the risk is too high for him to walk as he legs just give way with no warning and so he is confined to a wheelchair.

Shaun joined me in studio to chat about his 14 year journey & what’s in store for the future. Show goes live on Tuesday morning… you’re not going to want to miss this one!"
