Yesterday we were lucky enough to have funds donated privately in order for Shaun to see a specialist privately. We were hoping to see his original orthopaedic surgeon however after having a long telephonic discussion with him, he felt it was best to first see a spinal specialist before addressing the bone issues that are currently going on.

Dr Kyte recommended that we see Dr Khan as soon as possible as there is concern that Shaun has lost feeling to his legs and has numbness and tingling in his arms on an almost permanent basis now.

So we are off to see Dr Khan on the 5th June and we can't wait. We will be counting down the hours until our appointment date comes so that we can finally start getting a good solid plan together.
