I am very lucky that this only happened at the first stage liaising with the school (to obtain the I-20 for the F1 student visa) and not the embassy.

But the story is, because I am feeling anxious and pressed for time on the visa application, I put in everything I have at the moment, got my brother to be my sponsor, and submitted my application to The New School.

But the International Student office rejected it due to insufficient funds! I am trying to find out from them why, but I have a feeling it's because some of the funds are not liquid.

I am now extra anxious because of that. But I'm determined to do more and then try again! 💪🔥
