Edwin has left us on 19 August 2019. He has fought the good fight and has gone to a better place. We will always remember his fighting spirit until the end. His thirst and hunger for life is admirable and inspirational, even to the doctors who knew him. I hope this encourages you to live on, no matter how tough the circumstances may be.

This crowdfunding was set up to give him hope for a transplant. All this while, he always knew a transplant is his best chance at life and always held on to the hope that one day he can have a transplant. We are sad that it didn’t happen. But we thank you for your contributions to keeping his hopes alive. We will now use the amount raised to pay off his medical bills. If there are any amount remaining, it will be given to his parents who are now both past 60years old. Edwin has always felt sad that he couldn’t lead a “normal” life to earn money and support his family hence we know that he would also like them not to worry too much about money matters in their old age. If there are any amount left, we will make a donation in the name of Edwin Chen.
