March 15 friday night when i noticed 3 weeks going 1month son having a fever on a Saturday morning i brought him to his pediatrician for a check up, she immediately told us to go to another hospital to have a blood test for him (CBC test) to find out whats causing his fever. As my baby is still 3 weeks old.

Around night we got a text message and they told us that we need to bring him to the hospital and that he needed to be on a IV fluid antibiotic ASAP Since he is still a newborn he shouldn’t get a fever.

I was panicking and crying as well because im imagining my baby my tiny little peanut being poked by needles 😭

We went to 5 different hospitals in binangonan some don’t have a room available for a newborn, and the other hospital were asking us to do a downpayment of 30, 000 PHP first.

Which i don’t have. So they told us to go to MANILA MEDICAL CITY here in ortigas as this is our last option and they will for sure have a room for newborn baby like him

They took a blood sample from him to find out if he has a blood infection, and hes been on antibiotic since we arrived here

But He started having seizure a total of 20 since monday noon to tuesday morning

His seizure lasted a seconds only but it will come back every after 15 mins.

So they immediately told me that my baby needs to get a CT scan of the head and a lumbar puncture and a chest XRAY right away to find out what’s causing his seizure.

They found out its a meningitis an infection in his brain and he also got a mild pneumonia.

Guys we have been here since sunday, and i as of now finn is still on his iv fluid antibiotic, his taking an oral medicine for anti seizure,So everyday every medication they give to finn, everything here cost so much money 🤦🏻‍♀️our bills will get higher and higher and i am financially incapable of paying all the bills. And if you guys would ask why here why in this hospital,

I was panicking and its an emergency cuz my baby’s skin color were starting to change already so i had no choice, we were trying to look for another hospital before ending up here, and they told us they have no room available for newborn babies.

Im asking for help to pay his hospital bills even if its small it would help us so much, we need to continue his treatment for 14 days to make sure his meningitis in his brain is completly gone, and to continue his anti seizure as well
