Hello,

It’s been a week now since I went on an operation for a Tracheostomy and PEG. Our prayers including yours were heard by our dear Lord God. It was successful and for the past seven days, there were no major medical complications incurred on my body specially on my wounds. I only had a fever a day after my operation wherein I had to take a higher type of antibiotic just to ensure that I will be totally healed from any bacteria or virus. Pneumonia was still the reason for me to have a fever in a day but this was immediately addressed by the higher type of antibiotic. Continous suctioning on my trach and also my mouth since I recently had a lot of secretions is being done by my Doctors and Nurses. I also had an MRI testing twice just to check if my brain is ok and as my Dad talk to my Neuropedia, he was advised that there is nothing to worry about since there were no complications found. This Sunday morning, I had a fever again and they found a fungus on my pleghm which requires another set of antibiotic. The central line that was inserted to me had to be removed as it may also be another possible cause of my fever. My Doctors had to look for veins again as a means of how the medicines are being given to me.

Thank you again for your prayers and financial support. All the help that we received is really a big one. It’s been a month now since I got admitted in the ICU and my current bill had reached to 1.8M pesos excluding the Doctors professional fees. Me and my loving parents is really grateful from the bottom of our hearts. We owe you and we may not be able to show you on how we are really grateful but rest assured that our Lord God knows everything. Someday, we will be able to repay all the good things that you have shared to me and my loving parents.

Again, join me in praying to our dear Lord God that he gives me strength on my body to fight the illness. Join me in praying that my Doctors and Nurses can be guided in taking good care of me. Join me in praying that there won’t be any complications and that I can leave the ICU and be able to go home soon. Join me in praying that my Mom and Dad can be given strength and be guided on every decisions that they make. Join me in praying that may our dear Lord God removes the pain and suffering of my loving parents as they see me fighting this illness. Lastly, join me in my prayers as I and my loving parents surrenders everything to HIM. That in all things, God may be glorified.

Again, Thank You and God bless you all!

Love,

Chami
