Baby Jane has started Treatment!

Update posted by Jessica Cutrera Papadopoulos

Today was the day Baby Jane received her PET scan results and finally began her formal treatment to fight her disease. She’ll doing radiotherapy five days a week and chemotherapy one day a week for the next six weeks.

At the end of last week we were very concerned about how far her cancer had spread as it is a particularly aggressive form. However, with the hard work of her committed (and inordinately generous) oncologist, Baby Jane has a chemotherapy and radiotherapy plan in place to help tackle the cancer. While her tumor is quite large, we are so grateful to hear, has not spread any further. Many of you have asked about surgery and unfortunately due to tumor size, Baby Jane’s cancer isn’t operable at this time.It is our hope that we might be able to shrink her tumor through treatment.

We want to thank her oncologist, the Patient Care Foundation and Adventist Hospital Foundation. Their support has been crucial and inspiring!

For now her lawyers and support network will look to adjourn/postpone any further legal discussions regard her claims against her employer whilst she focuses on her time and energy on the her health and doing all that she can to beat this awful disease.

Baby Jane, her sister Mary Anne, our family, and indeed all her friends and family are grateful for your continued support, prayers and donations. It really does mean so much.

We will continue to share updates regarding her progress. Thank you all once again!
