One year with Aplastic Anemia

Update posted by Lindiwe Chabane

Its been a year since Lulama was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. She continues to have constant hospitalizations for t transfusions. Off late her stays have become longer. We still hope she can get a bone marrow match to get a transplant. I'm still hoping this campaign will take off and we can get funding for her. I need all the help i get can to her support her through this. Please if you are able to help us it will be much appreciated. The Doctors at her hospital have added her to the bone marrow list. Its been a slow process to get to this point and we hope to expedite the process. Financially its not looking good as Lulama does not have medical aid. She still constantly misses school and a viable option would be to have her home schooled until she is fit to attend full time school. Financial assistance is also required in this regard to set her up with tutors. Lulama stays fighting, she remains strong though its not easy. We hope for a favourable outcome for this entire situation.
