Hi Everyone, My sincere apologies for the delay in updating this fundraiser, sadly Hero died 2 weeks ago on Thursday 9th May after somehow picking up parvo, he died very quickly and its left us, his foster family absolutely devastated and heartbroken. Hero was vaccinated so we can only assume his immune system was very low and he succumbed to the awful disease.

He received a 2nd operation in April on his paw to try and help his badly damaged paw as it had a piece of bone coming through his pad and to help straighten it to enable him to walk more comfortably. He was just getting better from this sadly.

I cannot thank everyone enough for all your help and support in giving hero a chance of a better life. He was very much loved and we still miss him every day, 2 weeks on and Im still in tears thinking about our courageous boy and so saddened that he didn't go on to have his whole life before him, he received the very best care and love that we could give and I hope he knew that.

Any surplus money after his vet bills will go to help another dog in need of an operation, once again thank you all for your support of hero.
