Last week we visited Ban Nayong School to take further items for the school, and what a fantastic day it was. I kept wishing every one of the people who have donated to the school could have been there with us.

Bev, Chris ( from Wales) Allen ( photography) Andrew ( transport) Duang, Noi and myself were made to feel very welcome.

We were welcomed by the headteacher, Staff, Director and children.

We were formally welcomed in the Thai language and also in English.

We presented the school with wall fans, dinner trays, A4 paper, footballs, pencils, and cash to purchase polo shirts, and a new tyre for the school bus.

A group of dancers performed several dances. Each dance represented aspects of the history and culture of the school and the local community. The performances were excellent.

After the dance performances individual children gave each of us thank you cards . Beautifully decorated and with individual messages of thanks for our help to the school.

We then had a tour of the school including seeing classrooms , a museum, a working loom and a hand built house which took over 2.years to build.

An amazing, Interesting and Emotional day. It was a privilege to be there.

The staff and children have asked me to pass on their sincere thanks to all who have helped the school. They were overwhelmed that people from different parts of the world have helped the school.

I would like to add my personal thanks to Pin, Duang, Noi, Allen, Andrew, and everyone who has helped the school so far.

We will continue to raise funds for the school and please share this with anyone else who may help as there is still much more we hope to do to help the
